If you intend to use PuTTY: make sure you pick the correct PuTTY Link SSH client (Plink) for use with Xming-portablePuTTY or original PuTTY i.e. OpenGL support is now provided by all Xming installers (Xming used to have separate builds and installers with and without Mesa).
